The finance, insurance and fintech sector operates under strict oversight from the Bank of Israel, the Capital Markets Authority, the Israel Securities Authority and European regulators. CBE provides a full GRC framework — so you're always one step ahead of the audit.
Why CBE for finance & fintech?
CBE guides every standard and regulation — even when they arrive together
Information security — the regulatory foundation
The foundation for almost every regulatory requirement in finance. The Bank of Israel and Capital Markets Authority point to this standard. Opens doors to Enterprise customers and global markets.
Privacy Protection Law — Israeli requirement
Amendment 13 to Israel's Privacy Protection Law mandates every organization that holds a database. Fines for non-compliance have increased significantly. CBE guides full compliance.
Privacy protection — European market
Mandatory for any company processing EU citizens' data. Fines up to 4% of annual revenue. Includes DPO appointment, consent management, privacy by design and more.
Service organization controls — required by investors
SOC 2 Type II is required by American Enterprise customers and global investors. Proves your systems meet Security, Availability and Confidentiality criteria.
American information-security framework
Required for fintech and institutional companies working with the US government, DoD and federal agencies. CBE guides NIST framework implementation and CMMC compliance.
Regulators whose requirements you must meet:
Israeli regulatory requirements are largely based on ISO 27001 and Amendment 13. CBE maps the gaps and builds a work plan to meet all the requirements.
DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) is the EU regulation for digital resilience in finance. In effect since January 2025. Every financial company operating in the EU must comply.
Yes. Any organization that processes, stores or transmits cardholder data must comply with PCI-DSS. The required level depends on transaction volume. CBE guides all PCI levels.
Amendment 13 is Israel's privacy protection law — mandatory for every organization in Israel. GDPR applies to any company processing EU citizens' data. Companies operating in both markets need both.
SOC 2 Type I is faster; Type II requires an observation period of at least 6 months. CBE prepares you for the process and guides you until you receive the auditor's report.
ISO 27001 is an excellent foundation, but Israeli regulators add specific requirements. CBE performs a gap analysis and identifies what's needed beyond the existing ISO.
