What is GDPR?

Privacy protection that proves you respect your users

GDPR is the European Union's regulation for personal data protection — applicable to any organization that collects, processes or stores EU citizens' data, regardless of the organization's location. An Israeli organization with EU users, customers or employees must comply with GDPR.

The fines are deterrent: up to €20 million or 4% of global annual revenue — whichever is higher. In recent years, fines of hundreds of millions of euros have been imposed on both large and small companies.

CBE doesn't just guide you to GDPR — we build a privacy framework that combines GDPR, Amendment 13 and ISO 27001, because organizations working with the EU need all three.

Data subjects' rights

Right to access, rectification, erasure and more — must be enabled and documented.

Privacy by Design

Privacy built into the product and processes from day one.

Legal basis for processing

Every data processing requires a legal basis: consent, contract, legitimate interest and more.

Breach reporting (72 hours)

Mandatory reporting to the privacy authority within 72 hours of discovering a breach.

Who needs to comply with GDPR?

SaaS & Technology

Any SaaS with European users must comply with GDPR. EU clients conduct a Data Privacy Review before every contract.
