What is the EU AI Act?

The regulation that will reshape the AI world — Israelis must prepare

The EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) is the world's first comprehensive law regulating artificial intelligence. It classifies AI systems by risk level and imposes different requirements — from a total ban on unacceptable-risk AI to minimum requirements for general AI.

An Israeli company marketing AI to the European market — whether directly or through partners — is subject to the AI Act. Fines up to €35 million or 7% of annual turnover.

CBE doesn't just guide you to the AI Act — we build an AI Governance framework that combines ISO 42001, ISO 42005 and the AI Act, because the EU AI Act requires a complete management framework.
