Medical-equipment registration
AMR approval is the official registration and approval of medical equipment at the Ministry of Health. Without the approval, it's forbidden to market, sell or import medical equipment in Israel.
Engineering works
Official registration in the Contractors Registry for engineering works managed by the Ministry of Construction. Registered contractors receive grades and classifications enabling participation in government and public tenders.
Supplier registry (MAPAT)
Registration in the Ministry of Defense supplier registry enables participation in tenders and contracts with the defense system. Requires meeting information-security requirements, security classification and required standards.
Recognition by the Standards Institution
"Registered Importer" status is granted by the Standards Institution and enables importing regulated products under the importer's responsibility — without per-shipment testing. Eases import processes and accelerates time-to-market.

AMR approval is an official Israeli approval from the Standards Institution that a product meets a specific Israeli standard (SI). An ISO standard is international. Some tenders require both. CBE guides both tracks.
